Spaniel Training
Like all working breeds Spaniels have been bred to do a very specific job. This often means they are highly driven to sniff and search when out on a walk. They often have a strong desire to retrieve items. If these needs are not met these dogs can be a challenge in a home environment. Recall can be a problem, instead of retrieving they may want to steal or guard items.
Sharon has lived with and trained spaniels for over 15 years. In 2022 she completed a years teacher training with the Gundog Trainers Academy. As with all of Sharon's training her method use only positive and fun training to help you understand and get the very best from your dog.

Spaniel Classes
Spaniels are such special dogs, noses down, tails up they struggle to walk in a straight line let alone on a loose lead!
These classes will help you to understand your spaniel better. We will work on ways to help them walk with us, we will introduce sniffing games to give them a new job to do on their walks and we will work on finding ways to help them switch off and settle more easily.

Gundog Workshops
These 2 hour outdoor workshops run from various venues.
Suitable for all gundog breeds, crossbreeeds or anyone with an interest in gundog training.

Each workshop will build on your dogs skills, focusing on heel work, control around distractions, recall games, retrieving and much more.
