ABOUT US
Lakeside Dog Behaviour and Training offers a premier service for you and your dog. Lead by qualified animal behaviourist Sharon Edwards who has extensive experience after working with dogs for over 25 years. Sharon's career with dogs began in the world of animal rescue, she then went on to gain qualifications in Dog behaviour before becoming kennel manager in an independent rescue centre. Sharon also holds a teaching qualifications after spending 10 years teaching animal care and behaviour to further and higher education students. Therefore lessons are well planned and with comprehensive supporting material provided where appropriate, enabling you to continue training where it is most needed, at home.
Our wide range of training and behaviour services mean that Lakeside have something to offer most dog owners.
Our classes begin with a Kennel Club Puppy Foundation award to get you and your puppy off to the best start, you can progress through the awards to complete your Bronze, Silver & Gold assessments with Lakeside, who now offer their own Platinum Award for owners who want to continue to enjoy training with their dog. Sharon is also a Canine hoopers UK accredited instructor and offers a number of regular hoopers classes along with workshops.
If your dog struggles in a class environment or you want to focus on specific goals then you may prefer 1-2-1 lessons which allow you to plan your training under the guidance of your trainer and are an ideal way to begin your training with a new puppy or rescue dog.
